COUNCIL BUDGET CONSULTATION 2022/23
The Council is a large organisation and provides a wide range of services across Rhondda Cynon Taf, for example, collecting residents’ recycling and wheelie bin / black bag waste, street cleansing, Homes for the Elderly, Leisure Centres, Theatres and providing funding for our schools and working in partnership with them to deliver high quality education for children and young people.
Phase 2
Phase 1 of the budget consultation took place between the 26th October and 7th December 2021. The results of the consultation have been considered ahead of this Phase 2 consultation on a Draft Budget Strategy. Since Phase 1, the Welsh Government has outlined the provisional settlement, which means that the funding for the Council will be £441.433M. Full details of the Budget Strategy are found in the Important Links section on the right hand side.
