RCT Council along with the Urbanists have developed a Draft Strategy for Tonypandy which will help focus future investment in the town centre.
The Draft Strategy responds to the feedback received from early engagement, carried out between December 2024 and March 2025, which helped to identify the range of key themes and opportunities that exist within Tonypandy Town Centre.
A key aim of the Draft Strategy is about changing perceptions of Tonypandy, supporting Tonypandy to be a town that is welcoming, nurturing and social, establishing its place and reputation within the Rhondda Valleys.
WHY ARE WE CONSULTING
To allow the public to comment on the draft Tonypandy Town Centre Strategy.
Please note that all completed surveys must be received no later than 5pm on 3rd October 2025. Surveys received after this date will not be considered.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
The Draft Strategy engagement will take place between 11th August and 3rd October 2025. The feedback from the engagement will inform the final draft of the Tonypandy Town Centre Strategy.
