The time has come for us to develop a new Welsh Language Strategy to promote and facilitate the use of the Welsh language in Rhondda Cynon Taf. To help us write the new strategy we need your views as RCT residents.
Get involved in our conversation by:
Completing our short survey below to let us know how we can increase the number of Welsh speakers in RCT, whether there are any barriers stopping you from using the Welsh language as a learner or fluent speaker, or letting us know of areas that could benefit from Welsh Language services.
Showing usareas in RCT on our interactive map you think should be considered for additional Welsh language services. This could mean anything from Welsh language youth clubs in your local area to Welsh language fitness classes at your local leisure centre.
Attending a face-to-face drop-in session. We are planning to hold 3 face to face sessions in our libraries to hear your views. Times, dates and locations can be found below. Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions you're required to book a timeslot to attend any of the face to face sessions. You can book your 30 minute timeslot by emailing welshlanguageofficer@rctcbc.gov.uk
