This consultation has now ended. The results of this project are now being analysed, and we will add links to reports and further information when they are available.
Shwmae!
In our first Climate Conversation you gave us information that helped us to strengthen and shape the commitments in our Tackling Climate Change Strategy (2022-25) - Think Climate RCT' agreed by Cabinet in June 2022. You can find the feedback further down this page, or on the right if you are on a computer.
We are working to deliver these commitments and towards the targets we have set to reduce carbon emissions across RCT. One of the many things you told us was that there were barriers that stopped you from playing your part more fully and we want to know more about these barriers.
On this page, you will find an online survey where you can say what stops you and your family from being more climate friendly at home, in work and when you are making different spending and lifestyle choices. This information will help the Council to target the advice, tips and information that will help us all spend less, waste less and create less carbon so we can Use Less. Waste Less. Save More.
By looking at how and where we spend, we can save money and play our part to protect the planet e.g. shopping locally, taking a bus, train or walking instead of driving, using less energy, eating more plant-based meals, eating less meat and changing how we get rid of our rubbish can help save money as well as carbon. Have a look at our helpful links for more information on how to save money and be ‘greener’.
We don't have to be perfect when it comes to helping the planet. If we all changed one small thing today, tomorrow or this year, it could make a big difference for the planet and in our pocket
